Ever needed to remember something, but you didn’t have pen and paper to write it down? Or maybe you have a deep-rooted disdain for sticky notes. There is a free service out there that is here to rescue you from disorganized peril.
It’s called Jott, and you can set up a free account at their website, Jott.com. The concept is simple and incredibly powerful. The name is self-explanatory; it comes from the common phrase to “jot something down.” Once you have an account, you will never have an excuse for forgetting something again. Here’s the idea in a nutshell:
Since most of us check our email at least once per day, this is an excellent way to keep track of tasks and to-do items. There’s no risk of loosing a post-it note, and it’s cheaper than buying a day planner. There are several additional features that power users will enjoy as well. Some of these include:
A gadget that you can add to your ASU Personalized Start Page:
Or if you’re a fan of various social websites, you can use Jott to publish to your blog, add an event to your Google Calendar, or Twitter account:
Or if you are particularly political, you can now Jott your favorite Presidential candidate using JottTheVote. For more details click the image below.
So there you have it, boys and girls. Get out there and start Jott-ing.
