Scooting My Way Into Fall Semester

Buddy 125ccAt the beginning of the semester, I talked about riding the intercampus shuttle from the Polytechnic campus to Tempe. I hoped that it would last, but I actually stopped taking it about halfway into the semester. My class times didn’t jive very well with the bus schedule, and I found myself wasting quite a bit of time sitting around waiting for the bus. I’ve got nothing against it - the bus seemed to be pretty full each time I rode it, so it’s obviously been very helpful for a lot of students and faculty to make the commute across the valley. It was fun while it lasted.

Over Spring Break, my wife and I made a purchase that will help save some gas money this next semester. We got ourselves a couple of scooters from Scooter Invasion in Tempe. We got the Buddy 125cc model made by Genuine Scooters. ItĀ gets nearly 100 mpg and go 60+ mph. Perfect for getting around town. Since all my classes next semester are at the Polytechnic campus, this will be a wonderful replacement for my car.

Goodbye high gas prices…
